Morning after the snowstorm...

We got a bit more snow and a storm that lasted longer than predicted yesterday. Today the sky was clear and sunny but pretty chilly in the single digits when I went out this morning.

...and I found another cute weathervane....

it is often beautiful after a storm. Glad you did not get too much snow though.

The red in New England seem a different red... a much deeper shade as is evident in the first barn. Interesting that it is not broken by anything so frivolous as a white trim!

I love these barns! And I have never seen a weather vane like that!

The first one was the barn I was going after last week when I got the crack in my windshield. It seems to have got a new owner and a new paint job. It does look like more of a brick red than a bright red.
We didn't get a huge amount of snow but the roads sure were a mess!

Beautiful barns; I particularly like the one in the third and fourth images. And such a treat to see a Highland cow!

Thanks for your visit. :-)
