I was so excited to go out after work on Friday and get some pictures of snow covered barns. I think the lack of snow this year has made me especially excited to finally see some.
Unfortunately, my windshield cracked while I was out driving around. This made me cut my ride short and I couldn't get out to one freshly painted red barn I wanted to photograph in the snow...darn it!

i like the 2nd place, but the silo being so far away from the barn made me wonder if they had torn an old barn down...
Yes, I believe a big barn once stood there and now a smaller but newer horse barn is in use on the property.
The snow shots are great. Sorry to hear and your windshield.
Love the snow covered barns! Beautiful captures!
You folk in New England...you can really get socked with the snows. Do not know how you handle it month after month in the winters. That first red barn could easily be pom notecards it is so pretty...though so is the other one. And those red berries are REALLY red. Love the post. genie
Is that red barn a previous shot taken before your trip? Because it looks beautiful in the falling snow! Red in particular looks so awesome in contrast to snow! WoW!
They're both great shots, but that red really PoPs!
Thanks for joining this week's Barn Charm =)
Hope you get your windshield fixed soon so you can bring us more of these beautiful barns in snow!
I think barns are especially lovely in the snow.
Your windshield cracked? OUCH!
I love the berry shot. Gorgeous barn scene, the snowy background is beautiful. Great captures.
Beautiful snowy scenes!
This is all so pretty! I love the goat! I got married in a barn a few months ago, it was perfect. I would have loved to get married in the barn in the winter too on a snowy day, it would make for great pictures!
