To start, we had two consecutive Robin's nests on our back porch this spring...
We have a pair of nuthatches in an old cedar in the yard...
...a family of northern cardinals are here all year, but I only get shots when they visit the birdfeeders during winter...
Yellow spotted newts are interesting...
...and Nubian goats...
Living near the notches allows for some beautiful natural vistas...

Love your nature pictures! Our long ago childhood vacation to New Hampshire was one of my favorites... except for the drive back down Mt. Washington. I was sure we were all going to die.
It is a scary ride down...
always loved the color of robin's eggs.

Love your photos - my N is for nuthatches are a different species but no less charming.
May I make a suggestion, please. If you were to put a Followers section in your sidebar pe3ople like me would be able to 'follow' you and see every time you uploaded a post. I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to do so. :-)
I think my "followers" section disappears from the sidebar at times...I have no idea why this happens.
