I came home with three new "girls".
My neices offered some names...such as "butterball", "tooie", and "squaks"...
On the ride home, I talked with the chicks and decided on the names...
"Charlotte" and
"Pecky Sue"...

PECKY SUE!! That made me giggle right out loud. My boys wanted to name the rooster Peggy Stew because of course we didn't want the rooster...but instead Rose (his former name) has been renamed Pete Rose. Love the new little birds, congrats on adding to the flock! ~Vonnie

They are Golden Comets, apparently excellent layers of brown eggs.
